1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the website kemi-sambo.fun and/or becoming a member of Kemin SamBO ry, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use the website or join the club.

2. Membership Rules

Membership in Kemin SamBO ry is subject to the following conditions:

• Members must be at least 6 years of age. Minors require a parent or guardian's consent and signature on the membership agreement.
• Membership fees must be paid in accordance with the selected plan. Late payments may result in suspension of training privileges.
• Members must provide accurate and complete personal information and promptly update the club of any changes.
• Memberships are non-transferable unless explicitly authorized by club management.
• The club reserves the right to refuse or terminate membership at its discretion, subject to applicable law.

3. Code of Conduct

All members and visitors must adhere to the following code of conduct:

• Treat all club members, coaches, staff, and visitors with respect and courtesy at all times.
• Follow the instructions of coaches and club officials during training sessions and events.
• Maintain personal hygiene and wear appropriate training attire as specified by the club.
• No bullying, harassment, discrimination, or violent behavior will be tolerated.
• Alcohol, drugs, and smoking are strictly prohibited in training facilities and during club events.
• Members are expected to represent the club positively in competitions and public events.

4. Liability Waiver

SAMBO is a contact martial art that involves physical exertion and inherent risk of injury. By participating in training sessions, events, or competitions organized by Kemin SamBO ry, you acknowledge and accept the following:

• You participate voluntarily and assume all risks associated with martial arts training, including but not limited to sprains, strains, fractures, concussions, and other physical injuries.
• You are responsible for ensuring you are physically fit and medically cleared for intense physical activity.
• You must disclose any known medical conditions, injuries, or health concerns to the coaching staff before participating.
• Kemin SamBO ry, its coaches, staff, and volunteers are not liable for injuries sustained during club activities, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
• Members under 18 years of age require a parent or guardian to sign the liability waiver on their behalf.

5. Refund and Cancellation Policy

Membership fees and event registration fees are subject to the following refund policy:

• Monthly memberships may be cancelled at any time with 14 days written notice. No refunds are provided for partial months.
• Quarterly and annual memberships may be cancelled within the first 14 days of purchase for a full refund minus a €25 administrative fee.
• After 14 days, quarterly and annual memberships are non-refundable but may be paused for up to 3 months per year.
• Event registration fees are refundable up to 14 days before the event date. After that, transfers to another event may be arranged at the club's discretion.
• Refunds due to injury or medical reasons are handled on a case-by-case basis with supporting medical documentation.

6. Website Use

By using our website, you agree to:

• Not use the website for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws and regulations.
• Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website's administrative areas.
• Not submit false, misleading, or malicious information through contact forms or other submission channels.
• Not use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to extract data from the website without our express written permission.
• The website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the website, including text, graphics, logos, images, videos, and software, is the property of Kemin SamBO ry or its content providers and is protected by Finnish and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

8. Photo and Video Policy

The club may take photographs and videos during training sessions, events, and competitions for promotional and archival purposes. Members who do not wish to appear in such materials must notify the club in writing. The club will make reasonable efforts to respect such requests but cannot guarantee exclusion from group shots and event photography.

9. Termination

The club reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership or website access for violations of these terms, including but not limited to:

• Non-payment of fees
• Violation of the code of conduct
• Behavior that endangers the safety of others
• Damage to club property or reputation

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Members will be notified of material changes via email. Continued use of the website or club services after changes constitute acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes arising from these terms or club membership shall first be addressed through internal mediation with the club management. If mediation fails, disputes shall be resolved in the District Court of Lapland, Finland.
